BIOGRAPHY
Mr. Warren Howard, BSc is an International Relations and Protocol Professional and the holder of a Bachelor of Science degree in International Relations. He is a 24-year-old who has been involved in matters pertaining to governance, the Public Service, and international relations in Barbados since 2018.
Since 2020, he has immersed himself in protocol management, contributing to the planning and execution of over ten distinct national events. The Art of Protocol: A Personal Account with Professional Tips is his first book. In the sphere of international relations, he has contributed to negotiations between Barbados and the People's Republic of China on Barbados' National Stadium, facilitated the Sports Cooperation Agreement between Barbados and Rwanda and the Memorandum of Understanding between the National Sports Council of Barbados and the National Sports Authority of Ghana, and has participated in, and followed up on, bilateral discussions with Argentina, Colombia, Cuba, Italy, Japan, Kenya, Saint Lucia, Suriname and Zambia. Over the years, Warren has contributed to, advised on, or led protocol for a multitude of significant national events in Barbados. Some notable highlights include the 44th commemoration ceremony of the Cubana Air disaster, the visits of the President of Kenya and UN Secretary-General, the 2022 National Youth Service, the 2022 Sagicor Life Inc. Lighting Ceremony, the Athletes' and Officials' Reception at Ilaro Court for the 2022 Commonwealth Games Team, the 2023 National Youth Awards, the 2023 National Sports Awards, and the State Funeral of former Prime Minister Lloyd Erskine Sandiford. |
